Unintentional Drug Overdose Death Rate by Race/Ethnicity

This dataset provides unintentional drug overdose death rates in San Francisco by race/ethnicity and year, using finalized data from the California Electronic Death Registration System. It includes deaths from opioids, methamphetamine, and cocaine, excluding homicides and suicides, and omits groups with fewer than 10 events for privacy. Rates are calculated per 100,000 people based on U.S. Census population estimates. Updated annually, the dataset originates from the San Francisco Department of Public Health's Annual Substance Use Trends report.
