COVID-19 Cases, Hospitalizations, and Deaths (By County) - ARCHIVE

The Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) provides streamlined COVID-19 data across four tables, updated daily. These include: (1) the COVID-19 Cases, Deaths, and Tests by Day dataset, offering historical data since the pandemic began, available at https://data.ct.gov/Health-and-Human-Services/COVID-19-Cases-Deaths-and-Tests-by-Day/g9vi-2ahj; (2) the COVID-19 State Metrics dataset, featuring over 93 columns of data from June 21, 2022, at https://data.ct.gov/Health-and-Human-Services/COVID-19-State-Level-Data/qmgw-5kp6; (3) the COVID-19 County Metrics dataset, consisting of 25 columns since June 16, 2022, at https://data.ct.gov/Health-and-Human-Services/COVID-19-County-Level-Data/ujiq-dy22; and (4) the COVID-19 Town Metrics dataset, with 16 columns starting June 16, 2022, where data with fewer than 5 cases are suppressed for confidentiality per week, at https://data.ct.gov/Health-and-Human-Services/COVID-19-Town-Level-Data/icxw-cada. Hospitalizations, cases, and deaths are reported preliminarily and updated as needed, with death information gathered from the Connecticut Deaths Registry and investigations performed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) when necessary.
